About HBCU Hub

NCRF has partnered with HBCU HUB to offer more options to provide access to higher education. HBCU HUB is a life-changing platform to help students get directly connected to college.

From the beginning, HBCU HUB has been motivated by a modest principle: an educated black person can take over the world. When HBCU HUB was founded in 2016, we wanted to provide inner-city students the necessary resources to chase their dreams and accomplish greatness through the form of a free mobile app. Our mission was simple – help students apply, prepare, and get accepted into their dream HBCU. We mobilized a nationwide effort to bring the college experience to high school students and encouraged them to take the next step in education. In the process, our team has expanded to a vast network of relationships with change makers across the country who work in service of black education and excellence.

The same core belief that got us started still guides us today—to see a world that celebrates the deep-rooted value of life in color and works together to secure it. At HBCU HUB, we passionately believe in service, legacy, and unapologetically doin’ it for the culture so we’ve dedicated our work to building the high school to HBCU pipeline and breaking the cycle of under representation in education, one student at a time.
