Event Description

7th ANNUAL GALA & FUNDRAISER

Join us Friday evening November 15th 2019 as we salute those who have strengthened and empowered students, and have been true supporters of our communities. We will also be raising money for scholarships and gap fees for underserved, underrepresented, at risk, low resource, foster and homeless students.

7:00pm Strolling Supper, delicious food by Spaggi's

7:15pm-9pm Program

*Proceeds benefit students from low resource communities, foster and homeless students in need of scholarships, tuition assistance, dorm fees, toiletries, bedding, books, etc. We have helped over 500,000 students get into college, have given away over $700,000 in scholarships and helped students secure over $900,000 million in scholarships and grants.

70% of our intensive students (students in danger of failing) increased their grades at least one letter grade
90% of our intensive students receive passing grades in all their classes
The Movement Team has increased students Benchmark grades in Math during 2015-16 school year up to 150%
The Movement Program has a 100% graduation rate among African American students at most high schools.
Over 95% of our scholarship winners finish college
Created a 100% College Going Rate at selected high schools
The Movement Program has increased graduation rates at all high schools at least 20%
100% of our students in the Movement Program apply to college or certified program
Placed over 1000 college students in internships and careers
Helped over 500,000 students get into college
We have awarded over $700,000 in scholarships
Helped over 878 athletes receive athletic scholarships
Helped students secure over 1 billion in scholarships and grants
Hosted over 150 College Expos, Financial Aid Seminars, and College Planning Sessions
100% Graduation rate among African Americans at participating Lynwood Unified Schools in 2017-2018

African Americans in Aviation Traveling Museum
National College Resources Foundation has partnered with Chauncey Spencer, Jr. continuing his father Chauncey Spencer Sr.’s legacy creating an African Americans in Aviation Traveling Museum.  The Traveling Museum is on the road traveling 7,000 miles to share history of black aviators like Chauncey Spencer and Dale White who were responsible for convincing Congress to include blacks in the pre-World War II Civilian Pilot Training Program to fight in the war and getting President Truman to integrate the US Air Force. There would be no Tuskegee Airmen, no Red Tails without Mr. Spencer and Mr. White. They paved the way for black pilots and astronauts. See map of the tour below. The tour includes the March on Washington.

NCR Foundation is a 501c3 organization with the mission to curtail the high school dropout rate and increase enrollment to degree and/or certificate programs among underserved and underrepresented students.

National College Resources Foundation (NCRF) and its programs Black College Expo, Latino College Expo & The College Expo has helped over 500,000 students get into college, has given away over $900,000 in scholarships, and help secure over 500 million in scholarships and grants. NCRF offers FREE services daily to students and their families, which includes intervention, mentoring, college and career planning, tutoring,student athlete assistance, and internship & careers placement.
